"Immaculately clean. Very friendly staff. Our last minute booking was easily accommodated with a ready room earlier than the listed check in. Beautiful pool area - the cleanest I've seen of any hotel stays. This is an older, independently owned hotel and a refreshing stay compared to a generic big brand hotel stay that I usually book. Our room was so quiet with a very comfy bed and large, clean bathroom. I will definitely book here again."

The rooms were very clean, very convenient to the park, the breakfast was good, the coffee was good, the rooms were very affordable, easy to get to from the airport. Staff was friendly and helpful. "Clean, comfortable, and friendly. Honestly, no complaints. It's not a 5 star resort, but this property is budget friendly and independently owned - it had everything we needed while in town for a quick two night visit. The outdoor pool and hot tub were by far our favourite part of this property. The pool area, along with the rest of the grounds, were kept extremely clean and well maintained. There is a lovely seating area with string lights and picnic tables on the property as well. The staff were friendly, a basic breakfast was included, and the rooms were clean and comfortable."

"Beautiful inn !!! If you've ever seen Gilmore Girls it reminds me of the Independence Inn. Everything was gorgeous and it was such a pretty place to stay. Staff was nice, hotel room was clean, and the front desk even had additional toiletries for us since we forgot some. My only complaint is the walls are very thin and the family beside us was very loud which is out of the inn's control. Breakfast was great!!! I loved it here and would definitely come back!"

"We truly enjoyed our whole stay from the moment we arrived! Everyone there was always so helpful and had a smile on their face. The rooms were just perfect for our family of 6 and the kids LOVED the pool. The water was warm and the hot tub is connected to the pool which makes it easy for parents to be right there and still enjoy the hot tub. The kids really enjoyed the breakfast and there was always fresh fruit to choose from. As for Cedar Point, you can't beat the price for how close you are to the park, it's so quick to get there and get back!"

"The kids loved the pool and going down the slides together, and the swings. The beds were very comfy and I slept great. There was also a patio/picnic area with grills and picnic tables. Zil was very nice and helped us out."

"We had a great time at the South Shore Inn for our trip to Cedar Point! It was super close to the park (less than 5 min drive!) and perfect for our family of 4. The kids (ages 11 and 12) loved the pool and the slide was an awesome extra! So refreshing after a hot day at cedar point! We loved the basketball hoop too. Rooms were good with fridge and microwave and everything we needed. Nice and cool in the 90 degree weather too! All in all a great stay!! Our key got deactivated in our magnetic wallet so watch out for that. Breakfast was good with a pancake maker and hot coffee!!! We would definitely come back!"
